However, something has happened to your body, either suddenly, or slowly over time, and now you’re no longer feeling so agile. You have pain or discomfort that’s really limiting what you can do.
Perhaps you are worried that you’ll have to give up doing what you love, or it might prevent you from reaching your next goal, and even worse, your best efforts don’t seem to be getting rid of the pain.
Rest, ice, heat, analgesics, orthotics, stretching—you have tried so many of the standard strategies. Perhaps you’ve tried massage, physical therapy, even surgery, and you make some gains, but nothing seems to last or give you the real relief and mobility you want. Your doctor might even have said, “You are just going to have to live with it.” Aggh! Does this mean you are getting old?
What you do need is someone who can take your whole structure into consideration, then track down the source of the pain. You also need someone who “listens” to your body and respects what you know or notice about your own body.
